Remark HB becomes first Bangladeshi cosmetics company to export to Thailand

Bangladeshi cosmetics and FMCG manufacturer Remark HB Limited has begun exporting its
products to Thailand, marking a milestone for the country’s beauty and personal care
industry. With this move, the company became the first Bangladeshi cosmetics firm to enter
the Thai market.
The exported products include cosmetics and skincare items of the U.S. brand NIOR, which
are manufactured in Bangladesh and are now available to consumers in Thailand through
leading e-commerce platform Lazada via LAZADA.CO.TH, as well as through HERLAN.CO.TH.
The company formally began its operations in 2021, focusing on strengthening its
manufacturing capabilities and developing brands across beauty and homecare categories.
Since then, the company has been working to develop internationally competitive products
while maintaining high standards in quality, innovation, and product safety.
Commenting on the milestone, chief business officer, Rashedul Islam said, “This is a proud
moment for us and for Bangladesh. From the beginning, our vision was to prove that products
manufactured in Bangladesh can meet global standards and compete in international
markets. Our entry into Thailand is the first step in a much bigger journey to take Bangladeshimade beauty products to consumers around the world.”
He added that the company plans to expand its international presence in the coming years by
exploring new markets across Asia and beyond.
Industry observers say the development reflects the growing potential of Bangladesh’s
cosmetics manufacturing sector and its increasing readiness to compete in global markets.
Remark HB is a U.S.-based multinational company committed to ensuring world-class
products while working to prevent counterfeit and adulterated goods in Bangladesh. Through
advanced technology and a strong distribution network, the company has further
strengthened its position in the country’s cosmetics and FMCG sector.
Currently, the company manufactures and markets products across several categories,
including home care, personal care, skincare, hair care, baby care, and color cosmetics. Its
popular brands include Lily, NIOR, Max Bue, Little One, Orix, Tylox, and Siodil.
